Their debut album Chagrin Bleu (Les disques Bongo Joe 2022) is woven from a dozen or so synthesized laments on which\, carried by inhabited voices\, blossom as many padded lyrics. Violin and theremin\, delicate and bewitching additions\, accompany these ethereal pearls of poetry. This first album\, composed by Zoé and Augustin Sjollema in the shelter of a Geneva bedroom converted into a studio while the world was slowing down\, is a room of its own\, lined with light\, crystalline pop and inhabited by melancholy without artifice.
