Through works in Indian ink and watercolor\, Éric Alibert explores the discreet richness of the banks of the Arve\, carefully observing the fauna\, rhythms and forms of living things. His work\, which straddles the border between figurative and abstract art\, offers a veritable “writing” of nature\, where each stroke expresses an intimate relationship between humans and their environment. \nAs an echo\, the Bains des Pâquis are hosting the exhibition Writings of the river. Carouge and the Arve from June 5 to August 11\, 2026. Through a series of thematic panels\, this presentation offers a historical and documentary reading of the river: its uses\, its trades\, its developments\, and the richness of its flora and fauna.
