Poncili creacion (unknown) is a soft sculpture and performance collective that ambiguously emerged in the future colony of Puerto Rico around 2010. They have dedicated their lives to transforming the ancient art of puppetry into a community-building tool in pursuit of a different world. By mixing waste with color, dance with existentialism and life with death, they created their practice. Staying on the edge of anarchist madness and contemporary intellectualism, the collective presents its work in schools, festivals, backyards, galleries, homes, museums, bathrooms and weddings. They are currently on a never-ending world tour. If you see them, feed them – they’re always hungry.
