Michèle Makki
Michèle Makki is a history buff. She holds a master’s degree in philosophy and French literature, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Italian, and has taught Latin and French during her professional career. A journalist for some time with the Swiss daily L’Impartial, she has given lectures on historical figures, published poems and critical articles in Écriture, Nova and Vetera (magazines published in French-speaking Switzerland), and co-authored a book with Oleg Stépanovitch Kochtchouk (Michel Barde. Un homme, une cité, Éditions Slatkine, Geneva, 2008).
