Gwendoline Soublin

In conjunction with the SPECIMEN show at Théâtre Am Stram Gram (for teenagers and adults), Gwendoline Soublin offers a new reading in Geneva of her text “Sous la yourte”.
Through the day of Lucy, a supermarket employee whose daily life goes off the rails, we explore, in reverse, the strata of Evolution. Lucy is thrown out of the “capitalocene”, she retraces the eras of life on Earth, changes perspective, and takes a clear look at the Homo sapiens we’ve become. This is the intimate, “prehisto-evolutionary” epic that Spécimen takes us on. Ecology and fantasy are at the heart of this original, poetic text.
