Red-footed kisses

André Petitat’s first passion was the social sciences, in Geneva, Montreal and Lausanne. But throughout his career as a researcher and teacher, exploring themes such as education, the gift, secrecy, narrative and interpretation, he has never forgotten the other voice. The voice of emotion and surprise, the one that goes straight to the heart of the matter or wraps itself around it, the one that, picoti and picota, dances and makes the other words, held for a few moments in silence, tremble.
