After traveling the globe, the world’s smallest amusement park is making a stop in Geneva. A vast realm of play for children ages 6 to 106. Made from odds and ends and colorful scrap metal, the thirty or so games designed by Joan Rovira give discarded objects a wildly playful new lease on life. In the hands of the Catalan artist, bicycles become birds, ironing boards turn into race tracks for thimbles, and wood-burning stoves transform into periscopes. Inspired by Calder, Niki de Saint Phalle, Tinguely, and Fischli & Weiss, his boundless imagination awakens our own and sparks—regardless of age—an irrepressible desire to play.
