reading by Fanny Briand and Philippe Constantin this Saturday at 11am in the yurt.

Born in the autumn of 1980, Fanny first set eyes on the wide open spaces of the Geneva countryside, facing the Jura mountains. Later, she dabbled in art in general at the ESBA, dreaming of travel and the mountains, before training in landscape architecture. It was in an architects’ office that she honed her sensitivity to the world; large scale, small scale, public or private space, rural or urban, she approaches landscape from different angles, always spatial. In recent years, she has returned to what had never really left her: drawing and writing. In line and words, she searches for the micro-cracks where our roots take root.

She co-founded the association “Poésie ambulante”(www.poesieambulante.com) in 2017 and joined the editorial board of Journal des Bains the same year. She currently divides her time between her teaching load at Hepia and creative, personal or collaborative projects.
